Obituary of Richard Girard

On Tuesday, February 3, 2015, Mr. Richard Girard passed away in Radway, Alberta at the age of 81 years. Born and raised in Chauvin, Alberta, Richard spent much of his adult life in Edmonton, retiring to Thorhild, Alberta in 1997. He will be remembered by his sister, Anita Hare and numerous nieces and nephews. Richard was predeceased by his parents, Germaine and Jean Baptiste Girard; sisters, Lillian Nysetvold, Cecile Girard and Trudie (Gertrude) Broomfield; and brothers, Armand, George and John. Internment will be held at the Catholic Cemetery in Chauvin later in the spring or summer.
