Obituary of Roy Andrew Gilbertson

On Thursday, February 12, 2015 Mr. Roy Gilbertson of Hughenden, Alberta passed away at his home at the age of 81 years. Roy will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his wife of 58 years, Elaine; children, Marty (Ava) , Robin (Gerene), Bill (Brenda), Penny (Jamie) Kowalski; grandchildren, Trevor, Justin (Damaris), Lonny (Brooke), Ryley (Amanda), Nicole (Scott) Neufeld, Jenna, Mikayla, Sarah (Darren) Flewelling, Brittney (Dave), Lisa Kowalski; brother, Bruce; sister-in-law, Mary Gilbertson; brother-in-law, Rodney Davis; sister-in-law, Fay (Stan) Longson, and sister-in-law, Celine Davis; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Evangeline Gilbertson; infant son, Larry; three sisters and seven brothers. A Celebration of Life for the late Roy Gilbertson will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Czar Hall, Czar, Alberta.
