Obituary of Doris Hazel Korytniak

On Friday, May 29, 2015 Mrs. Doris Korytniak passed away at the Dr. Cooke Extended Care in Lloydminster, Alberta at the age of 83 years. A Funeral Service for Doris will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tim Acey officiating. Doris, Korytniak Korytniak, Doris Hazel November 05 , 1931 – May 29 , 2015 Our family is sad to announce the passing of Doris on Friday, May 29th, 2015 at The Dr. Cooke Nursing Home (Lloydminster). at the tender age of 83 years, Doris met the love of her life, Robert Korytniak, in Prince Albert Saskatchewan and he remained by her side until she passed. Doris attended school in Prince Albert. Doris is survived by her Son , Robert (Susan ), and one grandchild, Robert Brett Galloway, brothers Wesley Scarrett and Edward Scarrett (Darlene), and sister Lillian Tait. Doris was born in Paddockwood, Saskatchewan and was the second youngest of nine children of William Scarrett and Laura (nee Sterling). Doris was predeceased by her parents; brothers Stanley, Jim and Lloyd, sisters Myrtle Melling and Violet Scarrett; Doris's family would like to thank the Dr. Cooke Nursing Home for the kind care they provided. A Celebration of Life will be held for Doris on Monday, July 6th from 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. at the The Pentcostal Church at 5101 – 31st street in Lloydminster Alberta. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to Dementia research and/or Ovarian Cancer research in Canada.
