So sorry to hear of Jennene's death. We had so many fond memories of Jennene and Lorne as members of Birch Shores, Clear Lake. We will miss our visits each summer with Jennene. To the McCleod family, There are truly no words that comfort one in the loss of ones mother. You have lost the pillar of your family. Your mom was stoic and wonderful, caring lady. Her family was everything to her. She loved her children beyond belief. And she loved her siblings too remaining close in later life. But above all she had faith in God and this got her through many tough times she faced and that's what she would want you to use now to get you through this difficult time you are facing losing her. Have faith and he will get you through this most difficult time. Keep your memories of your mom close to your heart so they are easier to retrieve.

Linda,Grant and family, My deepest sympathies on the passing of your mom, she was a tremendous Lady, she had a gift of warmth and common sense, which is sadly lacking in todays society. Rest assured that for every loss there is a gain, and that of course is that there is another BRIGHT STAR shining upstairs to help guide us poor lost ones here on earth. We got to know your Dad and Mom when I started my full time career in funeral service in Edmonton at our family funeral home Park Memorial. Your dad was on the executive of the Alberta Funeral Service association and encouraged me to take a position on the AFSA executive. Midge and I have some great memories of both your parents when we visited at the annual meetings of this organization. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom, Jennene. I hope she passed peacefully, and that you hold special memories of her always. I have always held Jennene in the highest regard, she taught me many things as a young women, So many things I did not know about running a household, preparing lovely meals and appreciating family. I was grateful,and even more now! She was generous, supportive and loving to me and my family, and I will never forget her.
