Obituary of Phyllis Marlene Lapierre

On Monday, October 12, 2015 Mrs. Phyllis Lapierre of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright General Hospital at the age of 77 years. Phyllis is survived by two sons, Albert (Janell) Lapierre of Wainwright, Leonard (Sherry) Lapierre of Lashburn, Saskatchewan; three step children, Brian (Karen) Lapierre of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Rick (Marlene) Lapierre of Wainwright, Lavonne (George) Jackson of Wainwright; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Anne Plaxton of Wainwright. She was predeceased by her husband, Phil Lapierre; her parents, Marvin and Jenny Plaxton; one brother, Keith Plaxton. A Funeral service for the late Phyllis Lapierre will be conducted on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 1:00 PM from the St. Thomas Anglican Church, Wainwright with Father Ellis Jagoe officiating. Interment will follow in the Wainwright Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Wainwright Cemetery Fund or the charity of the donor's choice.
