Obituary of Howard Laurence Allen

On Friday, January 1, 2016 Mr. Howard Allen passed away at the Wainwright Health Centre at the age of 89 years. Howard is survived by his loving family; his wife, Alleen of 61 years; seven children, Val (Gerry) Allen-Fowlie, Don (Rhonda) Allen, Dan (Barb) Allen, Ed (Lana) Allen, Cindy (Kevin) Leonhardt, Lawrence (Dolores) Allen, Jeremy (Michelle) Allen; thirty-one grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; his brother, Jack (Vi) Allen; his sister, Ethel Schwab; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandson, Gideon; his three brothers, Mont, Bill, LeRoy; his three sisters, Mary, Alieta, Isabel; as well as his parents, Harry and Rhoda Allen. A Funeral service for the late Mr. Howard Allen will be conducted on Friday, January 8, 2015 at 1:00 PM from the Evangelical Free Church, Wainwright with Mike McWhinnie officiating. Cremation will take place at Creech's Crematorium, Vermilion with interment following in the Battle River Lutheran Cemetery at a later date. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Gideon's or the Manitou Lake Bible Camp.
