Obituary of Roy Wilfred Woodward

On Friday, November 22, 2019 Mr. Roy Woodward of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright Health Centre at the age of 83 years. Roy is survived by his loving family; his wife, Annie; daughter, Daralyn (Scott) Olson of Wainwright; son Dale (Rusty) Woodward of Wainwright; five grandchildren, Tyson (Kelsey) Olson, Cody (Sarah) Woodward, Barrett Olson, Riley Woodward, Jamie (Kail) Woodward; two great grandchildren, Oden and Leon; two brothers, Ken Woodward of St. Albert, Alberta, Floyd (Judy) Woodward of Wainwright; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill Smith, Donna (Ernie) Robinson, Pat (Greg) Perdue, George (Elaine) Smith, Doris (Vic) Stewart, Bob (Alice) Smith, Betty (Lyle) Newman; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Roy was predeceased by his parents, Wilfred and Ivy Woodward; brother, Vince Woodward; nephew, Kevin Woodward; Gramma Smith. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 3:00 PM from the Wainwright Elk’s Hall. Interment will follow in the Wainwright Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Wainwright Stampede Association or to the Wainwright Hospital Palliative Care.
