Obituary of Diane Susanne Tchir

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Diane Susanne Tchir on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the age of 73 years at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta. Born October 12, 1942, she is lovingly remembered by her husband, Bill of 53 years; daughters Donna Nichol, Lorna (Brian) Artindale, Tammy (Ian) Keer, all of Wainwright, Sandra (Dwayne) of Edmonton; and 8 grandchildren; Kayla and Brady Arthur, Courtland Artindale, Adam, Haley and Eric Melnyk, Alissa and Ariane Keer. She will be missed by her brother David Korpan, sister Pat (Ken) Powley and numerous extended family and friends. Diane was predeceased by her son Dwayne in 1965, her parents and in-laws. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wainwright Fire and Rescue, STARS or a charity of one's choice. A funeral service will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church, Wainwright, Alberta on Monday June 27 at 11:00 AM with Father Andrzej Lukaszewicz officiating. The family would like to thank Wainwright Fire and Rescue, EMS, the Wainwright Hospital Staff, Dr. Anderson, Dr. Ramsahoye, STARS Air Ambulance and the emergency Staff at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for their extraordinary care and compassion.
