So sorry to hear of Irene's passing. Although we kind of lost touch the last 3 years, I still have many fun memories of my time spent with her. I am thankful for all the help she gave my parents until they moved.

To all of Irene's family, and my cousins, I am so sorry for your loss ...and mine.Over the many years , Irene and I shared special memories that will always be carried in my heart.Mentor, consoler, friend and at times the sister I never had.She filled in the empty spaces in my life's journery, sharing wonderful stories of family. She left us too early, as the "stories" were not finished.Irene stayed with us in Edmonton when she attended school, and became a second daughter to my dad, and continued to share special family times with him until he passed away. Irene will always be with us...I can still hear her infectious joyous laugh. Love always cousin Evelyn

Thank you Evelyn! I will always long for stories not yet finished. Last fall my daughter and I did have a wonderful few hours hearing a few that we had not heard. We had planned this spring to go visit graveyards-but now too late!
