Obituary of Elsie Kate Taylor

Elsie Kate Marie Taylor was born on April 16, 1932 in Chauvin to Charles and Mina Bendall.

Elsie passed away on Dec. 6, 2023 at the Maidstone hospital after a long illness.

She is survived by her two children: Maureen (Denis) Benoit and Rod Taylor. Grandchildren: Michelle (Darren), Neil (Laura), Keith (Janelle), Travis (Claire), Sheldon (Danielle), and Brandon. Great grandchildren: Deonna, Kailynn, Easton, Nixon, Eloise, Cohen, Kyra, Jaela, Ameya, Kazlynn, Ellayn, Orianna. Brother: Dennis (Marilyn) Bendall as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Don, her parents, Charles and Mina Bendall, her sister Gladys (Ken) Saker.

The Family would like to thank the staff of the Hemstock Assisted Living Facility for the care they provided Elsie over the many years that she resided there.  Special thanks to the Maidstone Hospital for their kindness and care shown to Elsie in her final days.

A funeral for Elsie will be held at the Chauvin Community Hall on December 16th, 2023 at 1:00 pm with Reverend Steve Houghland officiating.
