Derek Pedersen

Derek Lee Pedersen passed away December 19th

at the Red Deer hospital at the age of 38.

Despite his many challenges throughout his life, he enjoyed every day and brought joy to those around him.

He taught all who knew him many lessons about taking pleasure in the little things daily in a life well-lived.

He leaves to mourn his passing his parents Glen & Brenda and his brother Kirk, his maternal grandmother Velma Wildman,

as well as beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

Derek was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Lee Wildman, paternal grandparents Ernie & Maria Pedersen,

uncle Niels Pedersen, aunt Leasa Kessir, uncle Wayne Willard, infant cousin Anthony Schulte and infant sibling Laurel Pedersen.

There will be no funeral as per family wishes.

A private interment will take place at a later date.

We are most grateful to all the wonderful people

who’ve been involved in Derek’s life.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Derek’s memory can be made to

the Bea Fisher Centre.
