Obituary of Vernon Leroy Dyrland

In loving memory of Vernon Leroy Dyrland. Vern passed away June 20, 2024 at the Vermilion Health Centre at the age of 85 years.

Vern is lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Jessie (Lena) Dyrland of Vermilion. Vern leaves to mourn his children Delphene Sims of Edmonton, Alberta and Lisa (Marshall) Kendrick of Hinton, Alberta.  He also leaves to mourn his grandchildren Nadia, Vanessa, Carissa (Conrad), Caleb (Jasmyn), Coleman and Jackson (Elizabeth) and his great grandchildren Elena, Andrew, Felix, Sloan, Lennon Cohen and Chirra. Vern is survived by his brother Dale (Leanne) Dyrland and Earl Dyrland. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Bertle and Selma Dyrland, sisters Ines and Irene, brother Allan and niece Shelly.

In keeping with Vernon’s wishes a private family service will be held.
