Obituary of James Henry Walsh

On Thursday, January 23, 2020, Mr. James Walsh of Wainwright, Alberta passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years. James is survived by his loving family; special friend, Grace Poulson; his children, June (Garth) Walter of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Pearl (Dick) Brent of Beaumont, Alberta, Thomas (Carolyn) Walsh of Calmar, Alberta, James Walsh of Luseland, Saskatchewan; grandchildren, Jeffrey Walter, Jennifer (Omar) Walter, Clayton (Lisa) Brent, Steven Brent, Patrick (Alicia) Brent, Stephanie Walsh, Melissa (Mike) Walsh; great grandchildren, Colton, Carly, Zachary, Ryden, Johanna, Zakariya, Maysa, Brooke, Paisley, Emerson, and Tyson; sisters, Clara Longley, Margaret (Jim) West, Shirley Giofu, and Judy (Keith) Brandt; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. James is predeceased by his wife, Elsie Walsh; grandson, Jason Walter; parents Roy & Rita Walsh and sisters Ruby Mulligan and Jean Walsh; and four brothers in law. A funeral service for the late Mr. James Walsh will be conducted Thursday, January 30, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from the Grace United Church, Wainwright, Alberta with Reverend Ann Marie Nicklin officiating. If friends so desire, the family suggests any memorial contributions made in James’ name be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta or a charity of choice.
