Obituary of Charles Leonard Blackford

Charles Blackford passed away February 10, 2017 in Vermilion at the age of 99 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter in-law Sharon Blackford; grandchildren Scott (Kathy) Blackford and Leah (Ken) Bullis; great grandchildren Caitrin, Alicia, Eden and Julia; sister Alice Widdowson; sister in-law Emily Blackford; numerous nieces and nephews; and two great nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Blanche; son Charles "Doug"; parents Percy and Sarah Ann; brothers Fred, Percy "Blackie", and Bill. A Public Graveside will be taking place at the Mannville Cemetery on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. Following, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Mannville Elk's Legion Hall at 2:00 p.m. Memorial Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice.
