Obituary of Kay Kitiuk
Kay Kitiuk, nee Wysocki (Jarock), was raised up to the Lord on July 9, 2016 in Vermilion, Alberta at the age 96 years. She was the youngest of seven children born to Jacob and Maria Wysocki (nee Szaruga) born on March 13, 1920 in Derwent, Alberta. She is lovingly remembered by her children Lillian (Orest) Woywitka of Surrey, BC, Florence Kather of Vancouver, BC, Louis Jarock of Vermilion, Alberta and Linda (Dennis) Graham of Surrey, BC; grandchildren Debora Danby (Ken Poskitt) of Victoria, BC, Wallace Kather (Jenny MacKenzie) of Victoria, BC, Mishele (Edward) Blumke of Surrey, BC and Troy (Jodi) Woywitka of Abbotsford, BC; great grandchildren Travis Thompson of Victoria, BC, Brigitte (Brad) Johnson of Victoria, BC, Zachary (Aimee) Blumke of New Westminister, BC, Mikaela Blumke of Surrey, BC and Tassa Woywitka of Abbotsford, BC; great great grandson Wesley Johnson of Victoria, BC; as well as numerous relatives and friends. Kay was predeceased by her first husband Mike Jarock; second husband Bill Kitiuk; grandsons Jason Jarock and Dean Woywitka; son-in-law David Kather; and siblings John (Eva) Wysocki, Josie (Adam) Loza, Walter (Lena) Wysocki, Bill (Frances) Wysocki, Peter Wysocki, and Fred (Doris) Wysocki. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church at 4620 - 53 Avenue, Vermilion, Alberta on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 11:00 am In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the charity of your choice.
