Obituary of Eugene Deford

Eugene DeFord passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 in Vermilion at the age of 77 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Frances DeFord; children Janice (Joe) Laurence, Donna DeFord (Albert), and Darren (Tamara) DeFord; grandchildren Thomas, Taylor, Katelyn, Grace, Amy, Declan, Michael, Abigail, Genevieve, Mary, Eric, Luke, and Joel; sisters Ivy (Henry) Dyjur, Bernice (Dale) Batdorf, Joan Simonet (Jim Kearney), and Mary (Ken) Manweiler; brothers Duane (Simone) DeFord, Anthony (Sylvia) DeFord and Barry DeFord; sister in law Carolyn DeFord; as well as many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Dever and Mary DeFord; and brother Dever DeFord. A Prayer Service will be held at the Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Vermilion on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at the same location on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the MS Society of Canada, Juvenile Diabetes, Asthma Society of Canada, or a charity of the donor's choice.
