Obituary of Tuffy Charles Larson

"Tuffy" was given the name Charles Lawrence Larson when he was born on July 1, 1936 to Louis and Maxine Larson in Mannville, Alberta. As a young man, Tuffy married Jeanette Stewart, of Edgerton, Alberta and together they would raise their family of three. After a short battle with cancer Tuffy passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Wainwright General Hospital - Palliative Care at 80 years of age. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Colleen (Eric Ellis) Rae and Donna (Rob Johnston) Larson; grandson, Mike (Lyla) vanPatetgan and their children, Athena, Jaunus, Emma Dawn, Jenny and Eli; siblings, Irene Randle, Glen Larson, Wayne (Ardis) Larson; brother-in-law, Norman Ford; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends. Tuffy was predeceased by his wife, Jeanette; son, Douglas Claude Larson; sisters, Lavern Ford and Clara Lou (Claire) Lukins; and brother, Ronald Larson. In keeping with Tuffy's wishes, cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date with his family and friends in attendance. If friends so desire, Memorial Contributions are gratefully received at Cross Cancer Institute, Edmonton, Alberta.
