Obituary of Darren Leslie Bertelsen

On Tuesday, February 16, 2021 Darren Bertelsen of Blackfalds, formerly of Lloydminster, passed away suddenly near Mundare, Alberta at the age of 43 years. Darren will be forever loved and missed by his Loving Wife Karlee Bertelsen and their Children Jackson and Kennedy of Blackfalds; Mother Norma Olson of Lloydminster; Sister Deanna (Ryan) Brennan of Salmon Arm; Brother Lyle (Robyn) Bertelsen of Lloydminster; Paternal Grandmother Irene Manson of Little Fishing Lake; Mother and Father in-law Alex and Marj Krykowski of Lloydminster; Sisters in-law Jenell (Arthur) Lumgair of Lloydminster, Stephanie (Avi) Patel of Edmonton and Leanne (Baraka) Aminiel of St. Paul; as well as his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Darren was predeceased by his Father Lynn Bertelsen and his Maternal Grandparents and Paternal Grandfather. Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private service is being held at Creech’s Funeral Home, Lloydminster. If so desired donations in memory of Darren may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.
