Obituary of William John Chabaniuk

On behalf of the children, we announce the sudden death of their Dad and Grandpa; William "Bill" J. Chabaniuk passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, July 7, 2017 at his home in Irma, Alberta at the age of 76 years. After a beautiful week of laughs and coffee, we are in disbelief and saddened by our Dad’s unexpected death at the age of 76 years. He will be dearly missed by his children, Dale (Denise Ralph) Chabaniuk, Corinne (Craig) Russell, Carrie (Eugene) Balaski and Dawn (Robert Brown) Civiero; also missing Bill and cherishing his memory are his grandchildren, Dalton Russell, Mitchell Russell, Tanice Balaski, Jillian Balaski and Dana Balaski; siblings, Virginia Steffes, Lil Kohl, Mike Chabaniuk, Shirley (Wiley) Hertlein; brother-in-law, Mike Maybroda; as well as many extended family and friends. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Helen Chabaniuk; siblings, Mary (Jack) Ellert, Katherine (Nick) Kozak, Elizabeth Maybroda, Ernest Chabaniuk; infant brother, Doug Chabaniuk; brothers-in-law, Darryl Steffes and Hugo Kohl. A Funeral Service in honour of Bill will take place on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at New Horizon Senior Centre, Irma, Alberta with Pastor Scott Reynolds officiating.
