I is with great sadness that Lisette and I learned that Gene had left for a better world. We both know Gene since the early 70's as young Privates in Rockcliffe, I then ran in to Gene our 6A course in Kingston. To the Russell family. I had the privilege to work along side Gene while on base and appreciated the time I had with him. From the chats about hunting and fishing, to showing methe pictures of the hunts both he and Sean had together and just the laughs to make the day brighter. Steve and I have fond memories of time spent playing darts with Gene and Sean and numerous suppers at our home in Morinville. I also had the pleasure of working with Gene in Penhold and Edmonton. He will be missed! We only got to know you, Pat, for a very short time before we were posted out but you are in our thoughts.
